OUR PARTNERS
NO MAN IS AN ISLAND
The Arcata is not a standalone enterprise, but a cultural, commercial, and creative ecosystem, cultivating mutually beneficial partnerships across a variety of projects and geographies.
These partnerships span six key dimensions:
(1) Collaborators: Subject matter experts and practitioners who might speak at Salon events, teach Collegium courses, and/or spearhead Atelier engagements.
(2) Stewards: Long-term institutional partners such as publishing houses, media companies, and hospitality groups.
(3) Venues: Hospitable establishments (e.g., historic pubs, breweries, restaurants, and hotels) hosting Arcata events.
(4) Ambassadors: Local coordinators of Arcata city clusters, charged with building strategic relationships and executing events in their city or region.
(5) Sponsors: Local and regional businesses supporting individual in-person offerings, or entire city clusters.
(6) Investors: Individuals and institutions supporting the Arcata financially.
JOIN THE MOVEMENT
The Arcata is seeking partners who believe in deploying their time, talent, and treasure for the right cause.
That cause, crystallized in the Arcata’s mission and vision, is the creation of a new cultural infrastructure founded upon sanity, localism, and excellence. Everything the Arcata does will aim to be worthy of attention and engagement from our audience, eschewing the mounting tendency to produce experiences that are “slop” (i.e., mass-manufactured and low-quality).
Therefore, partnering with the Arcata may not be the right fit for everyone. We are charting a difficult but necessary course, aiming above and beyond the bar set by contemporary institutions.
If this prospect intrigues, feel free to learn more by following one of the six paths below:
"It is not only what we do, but also what we do not do, for which we are accountable."
