These Terms & Participation Guidelines apply to the 2026 Arcata Summit, November 13–14, 2026, and any official Arcata-hosted event included with or purchased as part of a Summit registration, including the November 12 welcome reception.

The Summit is organized by Arcata LLC, doing business as Arcata (“Arcata”).

By purchasing, accepting, or using a registration, or by attending an official Summit event, participants agree to these Terms.

1. Registration & Admission

Registration is complete upon successful payment or Arcata's authorization of a complimentary registration. Participants must provide accurate information reasonably necessary to administer the Summit.

For couple, table, or other multi-guest registrations, Arcata may request individual attendee information. The purchaser is responsible for providing these Terms to accompanying guests, whose use of the registration and attendance are subject to these Terms.

Registration provides access only to the events and ticket category purchased or authorized. Arcata may require identification or registration confirmation at check-in.

Registrations may not be resold, transferred for consideration, or used for commercial promotions or giveaways without Arcata's written approval. Arcata may cancel fraudulent, unauthorized, or materially inaccurate registrations.

2. Refunds, Transfers & Event Changes

Refunds. Paid registrations may be cancelled for a refund if a written request is received at engage@arcata.live by 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on October 14, 2026. After that deadline, registrations are nonrefundable unless Arcata determines otherwise.

Transfers. A participant unable to attend may request to transfer a registration to another person through 11:59 p.m. Mountain Time on November 6, 2026. Transfers are effective when confirmed by Arcata.

No-shows are not eligible for refunds, credits, or transfers.

Arcata may reasonably change speakers, moderators, schedules, hospitality arrangements, venue spaces, or event format. Such changes do not, by themselves, entitle participants to a refund.

If Arcata cancels an official Summit event and does not reschedule it, Arcata will refund the amount paid for that event. If the Summit is postponed, registrations will transfer to the new dates; participants unable to attend may request a refund within 14 days after the new dates are announced.

Arcata may cancel, postpone, relocate, or modify an event when circumstances beyond its reasonable control make proceeding unsafe, unlawful, or impracticable.

Arcata is not responsible for airfare, lodging, transportation, missed work, or other third-party expenses arising from cancellation, postponement, relocation, or program changes.

3. Participation & Hospitality

Arcata welcomes substantive discussion and civil disagreement. Participants are expected to treat fellow guests, speakers, sponsors, staff, and venue personnel with courtesy and good faith.

Harassment, threats, material disruption, unauthorized solicitation or commercial activity, or disregard of reasonable staff instructions is not permitted. Arcata may refuse admission or remove a participant whose conduct violates these Terms or materially compromises the safety or orderly operation of the Summit. Removal for conduct-related reasons does not entitle the participant to a refund.

Alcohol is available only to participants age 21 or older, and service remains subject to applicable law and the discretion of the licensed venue or provider. Valid identification may be required.

Views expressed by speakers, moderators, participants, sponsors, or other third parties are their own and do not necessarily represent Arcata or its partners. Participation in or sponsorship of the Summit does not imply endorsement of every speaker, viewpoint, organization, product, or statement associated with it.

4. Photography, Recording & Content

Arcata and its authorized contractors may photograph, film, or record official Summit events. By attending, participants consent to the use of their image, likeness, and voice as they may appear in such media for Arcata's editorial, archival, promotional, and marketing purposes, without additional compensation.

Arcata will not use a participant's identity in a manner that reasonably implies a personal endorsement without permission.

Participants may not record or livestream scheduled Summit presentations or moderated sessions without Arcata's permission.

Summit recordings, presentations, and written materials may not be reproduced, published, distributed, or commercially used without permission from Arcata or the owner of the applicable content.

5. Accessibility, Privacy & Communications

Arcata will provide reasonable accommodations as required by applicable law. Accommodation requests should be sent to engage@arcata.live as early as practicable.

Arcata may use registration information to process payment, administer attendance and hospitality, communicate Summit information, and conduct reasonable Summit-related follow-up. Information may be shared with payment processors, ticketing providers, venues, hospitality providers, and other service providers as reasonably necessary to administer the Summit.

Arcata does not sell attendee information to advertisers or data brokers and will not provide attendee contact lists to sponsors for independent marketing without the attendee's consent.

6. General Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If any provision is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
